Facing the current global crisis, cities are experiencing adaptation and trying to redefine the use and activities in public spaces, regulating activities abroad and adopting behaviors in the new life of distancing.
The Susana chair is a reinterpretation of urban furniture from Yucatan that is part of the traditional Yucatecan image and expression, the confident chair, made up of two chairs found facing each other and designed for a couple to look at each other and talk.
Taking the original essence, it adapts to the new conditions to inhabit and reactivate the public space, offering a place of rest and safe coexistence in the open air.
The morphology of the chair allows a flexible configuration that adapts to each change, having the capacity for different physical arrangements within the city, a park, a street or a building, as proposed by new behaviors, uses and regulations.
A contribution to the city, its operating systems and new dynamics that allow for more flexible daily life styles that aspire to an adaptable city.
