Located inside a former textile factory, the now Hotel Hercules is an example of the potential of urban recycling of space, a result of the evolution of society through the years. The recently restored historical property holds 40 rooms with restaurants, pool area and a full equipped spa.
The building formerly housed the workers of the factory, now it has taken a second breath as a forty-room hotel, social club and spa; preserving the antique vibe from the original house.
The main design guideline of this project was to respect and cherish the spaces and elements that give the genuine identity to the building. The house was restored with the same techniques and materials as its original state, highlighting with details and gestures that harmonize with the local context.
